Quilt Appraisals by Dana

AQS Certified Quilt Appraiser, Dana Balsamo will be available, by appointment, at Olde City Quilts on Sunday, August 8th. She has been involved in quilting for over 20 years and has been teaching since 2002.   Her interest in antique and vintage textiles started almost as soon as she started quilting in 1995 and operated Material Pleasures, LLC from February 1999 until very recently, to sell antique and vintage quilts and other textiles.  As a Quilt Historian, Dana has studied quilts and attended seminars throughout the country including the Bard Graduate Center, the DAR in Washington DC, and Colonial Williamsburg. Dana is an AQS Certified Quilt Appraiser, and has been appraising since 2007.  She also maintains her USPAP compliance.
