Learn to make this square-in-a-square block that can be used to make a variety of quilt sizes!
Jelly Roll friendly!
Advanced registration required with a $25.00 fee for the day.
Supplies needed:
Fabric
- From 2-1/2" Strips for each square block:
- inner square cut two (2) pieces at:
- 2-1/2 by 2-1/2"
- 2-1/2 by 6-1/2"
- outer square cut two (2) pieces at:
- 2-1/2 by 6-1/2"
- 2-1/2 by 10-1/2"
- center cut one (1) piece at:
- 2-1/2 by 2-1/2"
- inner square cut two (2) pieces at:
- Choosing Number of Square Blocks:
- Baby - 16 squares
- Throw - 24 or 35 squares
- Twin - 28 squares
- *each square is 10" finished
Additional Supplies
- Basic Sewing Supplies
- sewing machine with quarter inch foot
- rotary cutter
- square ruler 10 x 10" (or larger)
- seam ripper
- pins
- thread to coordinate with fabrics
- scissors
