Working with Cuddle - Infinity Scarf

If you’ve always wanted to make a project with Cuddle®, but weren’t sure how, here’s your chance to learn from the expert!
Linda Linger, a Shannon Fabric educator, will be teaching an infinity scarf workshop. This is a great way to learn how to work with Cuddle® fabric.
She will share how to be successful when working with Cuddle® fabrics. Techniques such as how to measure, cut, pin, and sew this special fabric.
Linda will also be available prior to the workshop from 11 am to 12 noon and after the class to show off samples of Cuddle® fabrics, ideas for projects, and to answer your questions.
Cuddle® is a high quality brand of minky from Shannon Fabrics. This minky is a highly durable yet ultra soft microfiber knit fabric that has endless versatility. Cuddle® comes in countless varieties, from a wide range of solids and unique prints to embossed and even double-sided.
For the Infinity Scarf sample project
Supplies & Materials:
- Materials
- 1 yd Cuddle print fabric (provided)
- Polyester sewing thread
- Basic Sewing Supplies
- sewing machine
- walking foot strongly recommended
- 90/14 stretch needle
- hand-sewing needle
- seam ripper
- pins (flat head or "flower" pins
- Wonder Clips (or similar product)
- felt tip marker
- Micro-serrated scissors (Karen Kay Buckley)
- stiletto (optional)
- cutting mat, acrylic ruler, and rotary cutter will be available but bringing personal supplies recommended
- sewing machine
