Brother Embroidery Candy Bags

Candy Bag Class - Make a zippered candy bag in the hoop using your Brother embroidery machine!
Join our friend and Brother Educator Barbara Jones to learn more about your Brother embroidery machine.
Barbara travels all over the country teaching and we are lucky enough to have her in our own back yard!
This class is for Luminaire(XP1, XP2 & XP3), Stellaire (XE1 & XJ1), or Dream Machine owners. This class utilizes embroidery and regular sewing skills.
You'll learn:
Quilting in the hoop
Zipper installation

Supplies:
- Luminaire , Stellaire or Dream Machine

1 cookie/candy/other bag of choice….opened carefully
The bag should be no larger than the size of the Embroidery field either 9 ½ x 14 or 10 ½ x 16 or smaller. The overall size of the bag will be dependent on the original size of the cookie/candy or other type of bag
- 12” x 18” piece of Batting
- 14” x 20” Fabric for lining
- 1 14” or 16” zipper – contrasting or matching to the bag
- Pellon #100 (White DL) Vinyl fuse (adhesive) approximately
- 9 ½” x 14” hoop or 10 1/2” x 16 hoop
- Embroidery Foot “W”
- Sewing Ankle (adapter for regular sewing)
- “J” or “M” foot
- Narrow zipper Foot SA208( or adjustable zipper if not available)
