One of the best things about owning Olde City Quilts, is my affiliation with Bernina. I remember when I didn't own a Bernina. I thought pulling your fabric through the machine was just a normal part of sewing. What bothered me most, was that the sewing wasn't any fun! Trying my first Bernina (over 20 years ago!) convinced me and I know it will convince you! Come in and test drive a Bernina. We have them in every price range! We even offer layaway to make your purchase as easy as possible. We do not pressure you to buy, when you visit. We don't have to. You'll feel the difference that I noticed right away. We want you to buy when you are ready to buy. We suggest you take some classes here and try the different models. You'll soon find the decision becomes clear. Our commitment to you continues after your purchase. I provide training classes and allow you to take as many as you like. We don't pressure you to buy additional products during these classes. We focus on you and learning your machine. I never really imagined that I'd someday own a Bernina dealership. Now I do and I couldn't be more proud. Bernina Basics-Mastery Classes
Bernina Machine Basics:
In our Bernina Basics class, you will learn how to use, maintain and enjoy features of your Bernina machine. The Class includes 215, 3 series, 4 series, 5 series and 7 series machines. Not only will you learn about your machine but you will use your knowledge to create a small project! Time will be given for a lunch break...either bring your own or visit a local restaurant. Take this class as many times as you wish.
Please Bring Your Machine, Manual, All Accessories, Scissors.
Workbooks are also available to print and bring to class.
#1 Basic Operation- For all machine models
#2 Stitch Fun- For all machine models excluding 1008
#3 Creative Options- For 580, 780, 8series (pages 1-8 also for 710 & 750)
It is recommended that you print out the appropriate workbooks prior to the basics class.

Free to those who purchased their machine at Olde City Quilts, $150 to all others.
Basic Machine Embroidery:
Learn the basics of your Bernina embroidery machine. Margie will introduce you to the software, accessories, and briefly discuss thread, stabilizer, & designs. Session will include monogramming, quilting and image manipulation.
Please Bring your Machine, Manual, All Accessories including Embriodery Module & hoops.

Bernina Basic BSR:
Bernina engineering has provided us with the tools to perfect our free motion quilting. Let's learn to use it! Proper care and use will lead to greater enjoyment and realization of the full value of your Bernina investment. Techniques include basic free motion, thread play and bobbin play.
