Good Morning Wednesday! Time is flying by! Tuesday was busy and featured some new fabrics delivered! We also saw some friends introducing new people to the shop! Quilting is so much fun with friends! I'd like to encourage everyone to introduce their friends to quilting by bringing them by the shop for a visit! Everyone seems to enjoy these trips even if they don't become quilters! It should become an even better destination soon as more restaurants are scheduled to open! Wednesdays and Fridays are particularly good days to visit while we have our open sew days! Yesterday, Ricky Tims sent Rob a picture he had taken of us during our trip to La Veta Co. last year! It really brought back some great memories of that week! I better get started! There's a chance that the President of Bernina is dropping by on his way to the airport today! See you at the shop!

Good Morning! We're almost back to normal! Today we welcome a Bernina Educator to the shop!  Come on out and check out our Bernina Q24 Long Arm! We will have our Innova machines ready as well! I hope to see you today! I'm heading in early to make sure we're ready today! See you at the shop!

Good Morning! What a gorgeous Sunday! We had a lot of work to do after our trip to New Hampshire! We did manage to empty the rental truck! It wasn't very busy in the shop otherwise. We do have a Bernina educator coming tomorrow which has been totally unadvertised! If you could all help spread the word that we will have her coming to the shop to demonstrate the Q24 that would be great! First Rob has to put it back together! We are going to get an early start this morning! There is just so much to do! See you at the shop!

Good Morning! Wow! It's a beautiful sunny morning and I'm finally back in my own home! We're both a little worn out from our nearly non stop drive home but have plenty to do! What a great time everyone had at the MQX show! We are already planning our return visit next year! Last night we packed everything that didn't sell and then hurried home! We are really looking forward to seeing Charlie today! He has been staying with Rob Jr., Brittany and Cooper! We're going to head to the shop soon and try to get back in to our regular routine! Rob does have to unpack the huge rental truck and return it to the agency! I better get this day started! See you at the shop!

Good Morning! I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter! Rob and I got to do some work around the house! Monday was a really busy day! We got a huge Penske rental truck loaded up to go to MQX! Good Morning! I was expecting rain this morning, but the sun is shining brightly so far! What a nice surprise! I'm ready to head in to another exciting day! Brenda Jones got the classroom prepared for our hug wraps event today! Brenda is planning an even larger event which will be covered by at least one radio station on May 9th! I'm so pleased to see how our Hug Wraps group has grown! Stop in and help out if you get the chance! We'll be busy in the shop as usual! One of our Innova shoppers is about to order her sit down version! I'm really excited for her and her pursuit of what she loves! I hope you have a great weekend! Happy Easter everyone! Good Morning! Welcome to the weekend! Thursday did see our Hobbs batting order arrive! We have a lot of work ahead, as we have to mark each roll that has already sold with the customers name and cell number! I'm really looking forward to what happens next year! We also met with our sales reps from Moda yesterday! We have so much fabric coming in soon! I'm more excited then ever about our fabric selections! Can't wait to see the quilts that will be created soon! I did learn yesterday that we neglected to put our Hug Wraps event on the calendar! It will go on as usual! We have been a little shorthanded, but now are training a new employee to help keep our website up to date! Sorry for any inconvenience! Today should be a little rainy! Good Morning! As usual it was a busy day! There was even some excitement in the neighborhood as a ship ran aground just at the end of High Street! I think everyone was surprised at how quickly the ship was pulled back in to the shipping channel and on its way back down the river. This morning we are expecting a delivery of Hobbs Batting! Batting pre-sales for MQX have been so brisk that we actually already need another delivery! We have far surpassed what we sold last year and the show has yet to begin! I'm looking forward to seeing how the rest of the show goes! See you at the shop!

Good Morning! The countdown is on for MQX! I'm a little nervous! Some of the things we're taking have yet to arrive! We do seem to get a lot of things done at the last minute though! I was going to head out early for a fabric buying trip, but can't afford the time! I  may have to phone an order in so Rob can pick it up for us! I would have had to hurry back anyway. Another fabric sales rep will be visiting the shop this afternoon! Yesterday was pretty exciting as Rob was busy working on a plan to streamline our scheduling of guests! I can't wait for it to start! Look for more classes and guests coming soon! I'm feeling extra excited about things this morning! It is bright and sunny outside my kitchen window this morning! Good Morning! Another week is underway at OCQ! We had enough time to begin preparing for our trip to MQX in New Hampshire! This year is going to be the best MQX ever according to organizer Janet Lee! We'll be back at it again this morning with fingers crossed that we can get it all done in time again! I wish I had time to write but I made a big breakfast for us this morning and have too much behind the scenes work to do! See you at the shop!

Good Morning! Our weekend retreat was a great success! We can hardly wait for the next one! Eve and Margaret did a great job as usual! We already had many sign ups for our upcoming retreats especially October! Today I have to rush off again as I'm meeting with a customer who is very interested in buying an Innova sit down version! I really like this machine and know that it will sell itself! The last minute push to get ready for MQX is underway! We have been preselling rolls of Hobbs batting and have made more sales of rolls then we ever made at any show! I've got plenty of work to do behind the scenes as well! I have to get my day started! Good Morning! Saturday kept us busy in the shop with plenty of activity! We welcomed more embroidery customers, which is really starting to get exciting! At our quilt retreat we provided dinner from Franco's Taqueria in Riverside NJ! I think it was pretty well received! This morning I'm getting Brunch together! Gotta run! See you at the shop!

Good Morning! Well, this week is flying by! We'll be heading to MQX in Manchester NH before we now it! The local temperatures are supposed to reach nearly 70 degrees today! Wow! What a great day to get out of the house and head to the shop! Wednesday featured our usual guests! We also welcomed another first time visitor who is eager to learn how to quilt! I have been so busy behind the scenes I can't believe how far away from quilting you can get as this business continues to grow! I do think we are successfully developing systems that are going to make our lives easier! We are still ironing out the kinks in our new computer system but clearly see that it is going to help when it is fully in place! We also were so happy to welcome Shirley back from her brief vacation! She has plenty of work waiting for her! She almost immediately had both of our Auto Pilots operating! My next goal is to order a Navigator system by Innova! I think we have a very impressive collection of Long Arm machines and are continuing to grow! Well, I've got to get moving again this morning! Get out and enjoy the warmer temperatures if you can! I hope to see you at the shop!

Good Morning! This week just keeps getting better! The customers just keep coming in! It's still hard to believe that there can be so many new faces! Yesterday we met a woman that ventured to the shop from Turnersville NJ! That's not really too far away, but there just aren't many reasons for folks from that area to travel here! I'm so glad that she made the trip! She did say that she had been hearing about us and read about us so thanks to our customers that keep spreading the word! I'm looking forward to seeing more projects from this self taught quilter! Don't assume that your quilting acquaintances know about our shop! Keep spreading the word! Oh yes, and speaking of spreading the word! We do have some room in our retreat this weekend for a few more Quilters that need some serious quilting time! Ok, Here we go again! See you at the shop!

Good Morning! New friends and new adventures made our Monday special! I will never get over that we used be closed on Mondays and now they are regularly so busy! We welcomed a new customer who promptly purchased a 7 Series Bernina Sewing machine! We look forward to seeing her more often! Congratulations also to Hildur who upgraded her embroidery capabilities! We also had a very steady flow of customers who had fun finding just the right fabrics and notions! I'm looking forward to seeing a few completed projects that we helped with fabric selection! Good Morning! Sunday completed a great, great weekend! It seemed like the quilt retreat at the Quaker Meeting House went well! They sure visited the shop often! We also had 2 classes, one with Margie and one with Eve, on top of my Learn to Quilt group! Everything went great! This coming weekend we have our own Quilt retreat weekend! Good Morning! A great Saturday! The day began as one of the most beautiful mornings! Snow was everywhere but the warming temperatures made it so comfortable! The shop was very busy! I was able to arrange the Long arm room! As usual it looks better then ever! Later in the day we had a wonderful time meeting Brittany's parents and her sister! After a quick tour of the shop! We all left a little early and had a light dinner at home! I think we all had a great time! Well, it's looking like another beautiful day! Hope you can stop in for a visit today! Good Morning! It was a little quiet for a Friday, except for the Quilters retreat going on across the street! We were a little shorthanded again but everything worked out pretty well! We did have a new employee start yesterday! Emily has worked retail before and is new to the area due to a Military transfer! Welcome to Olde City Quilts! We also have another new employee working mostly behind the scenes! Melanie is organizing records for us! Today I'm looking forward to meeting Brittany's folks! They should be stopping by the shop before we head home for a light dinner! Rob is reassembling the Bernina Q24! Now we are thinking that we might reinstall the Innova 18" machine that we had sold. Seems the customer may trade it right back to us in order to get a larger model! I have some more to do to get my day started! Have a wonderful day! See you at the shop!

Good Morning! Spring is here! We are expecting a little snow! Hopefully not enough to ruin our day! We have made a lot of progress rearranging the shop! We had a lot of things to put away after Lancaster and it just felt like the perfect time to make some changes! Our Omni thread (we carry every color) has been condensed! We also are making our Batting more accessible! Rob completed the Auto Pilot installation! I think we may switch those around! I also showed our Innova sit down version to a customer who already did some great quilting on it! I also have another customer planning to visit and hoping to buy an Innova sit down machine! Maybe it's time for you to head in and try it too! I'm off to start another day! We have plans to meet Brittany's folks tomorrow so I have plenty of work ahead of me! Enjoy the day! Good Morning! We had a good day in the shop! Not too busy! I had a meeting with our District manager for Bernina! She brought along a sample of the new Bernina travel bags for the 7 and 8 series I believe! Really nice! Really BIG! Rob is going to finish up the last few items on the Auto Pilot installation! He did have it running, but we were pretty short handed in the shop so he had very little time to work on it! I enjoyed meeting a military wife who is now living in our area! As I welcomed her to the shop she said all of her friends had told her about it! I said oh your new friends here? She replied no! All my friends in Oklahoma! Thank you to all of our followers in Oklahoma! We also had a little excitement at home! We got to babysit Rob Jr. and Brittany's dog Cooper! They spent the night visiting New York City with Brittany's folks who are visiting from Prince Edward Island! Have a great morning! See you at the shop!

Good Morning! Tuesday was an interesting day! If you remember I was touting our new computer system! It seemed that I mentioned it everyday for awhile! Well, we finally got it operational yesterday! Several customers were delayed as the final transition proved to be a lot more trouble then we anticipated of course! But, it's done! It's finally done! The bad news is Mira and Shirley who have been working so hard to complete this are both off today! Fingers crossed that we will have no snags! We are expecting a busy day with our Wednesday group so we will surely get many chances to use the new system! Rob nearly has our next Innova Auto Pilot Quilting system together! Good Morning! We had perhaps our busiest Monday! I really can't believe how many customers we had in the shop all day! I can't thank our customers enough for seeing past the packing boxes. We still have a lot to put away from our weekend in Lancaster! Rob has also begun assembling our latest Innova Auto Pilot Long Arm quilting machine! We will now have 2 machines available to keep up with demand! We also set the dates for Jamie Wallen to visit! Keep Sept 11 & 12 open! I'm off to get another day going! See you at the shop!

Good Morning! Well, we unpacked the trailer! The shop is a bit crowded with boxes that still need to be put away. We did have plenty of shoppers on Sunday who managed to find their way around! Good Morning! My last two entries have been much later in the morning, but I hope you will all forgive me as it has really been a busy couple of weeks and I feel like I'm just getting back in the swing of things! This morning I slept pretty late! As usual Rob was up and about early and apparently restless as I found Charlie had a haircut, was out for his morning walk and all of the hair was cleaned up before I even woke up! Charlie looks much better! We just arrived at the shop and I was overwhelmed by how good it looks! The staff has been doing a great job! The Charlie Harper based Trunk Show looks great! Good Morning! It's been a long week! We are at the Lancaster AQS Show and it's a little quiet at the start! I have had no time to write this week because of our long commute to the show! Good Morning! Wow! A really hard week is behind us and another tough one ahead! We had a great time at the Quiltfest of NJ! We sold some Bernina Sewing machines! The Bernina Long Arm was very popular! We also had quite a few serious Innova shoppers! Thanks to everyone that came out! This morning we have to unpack and repack for the Lancaster AQS Show! I just learned that our Hobbs batting is delayed due to weather but should arrive by tomorrow! I'm stressing a little but it will work out! Lot's to do! Good Morning! Yesterday we raced off to Somerset NJ for the QuiltFest of NJ! It wasn't overly crowded, but we did have a lot of visitors that have already made us restock our booth! Good Morning! We had a busy Monday! I managed to get our trunk show displayed! Final preparations are well underway for our trip to Somerset NJ and the QuiltFest this weekend! I just heard all of the weather predictions. It doesn't sound too good for the first day of the show! The worst part is the rain that is forecast for tomorrow while we have to set up! Good Morning! What a great Sunday despite the weather! I taught 2 classes and really felt that my learn to quilt class went really well. Normally, paper piecing week is very challenging. I changed my approach a little and this class seemed to really do well! Rob told me we had another visitor that lives not far from the shop and managed to make her first visit! Keep talking about the shop! You never know when you'll meet someone who doesn't know about us yet! This morning we plan to make progress towards being ready for the Quiltfest of NJ. Good Morning! We had another terrific day in Burlington! Got Flannel? LOL! We got a big delivery of flannels! We also had another meeting with a fabric sales representative! Yes, even more fabrics are on the way! I loved my visit with a first time shopper who is buying her new Bernina here! I also got some wonderful feedback on my latest new Bernina owners class! I'm constantly reminded that we provide the most comprehensive information! I'd also like to remind our customers who took our education classes for machines purchased here, you can come back again! Good Morning! Wednesday sure didn't disappoint! We had a steady stream of shoppers! This morning Rob is heading out to do a few errands and visit a Gammill owner to check over her machine. We are having an interesting event this weekend too! Bernina Ambassador Teri Lucas will visit the shop and offer 2 training sessions for Bernina owners! Good Morning! Our week is rushing by again! Tuesday was such a busy day! I imagine today will be busy as well! I also began another Learn to Quilt class! This class is a little unusual as it is a much more experienced group! There are only three truly new quilters! Two students are actually taking the class for a second time! I'm always so happy to hear how many people truly enjoy the class and get so much out of it! Mira and I also managed to squeeze in a long visit with a fabric sales rep! We really need to thank her for her patience as we constantly made her wait while we helped customers! OK! I'm off to get the day started! See you at the shop!

Good Morning! Wow the cold air is back! Despite the chilly temperatures the week is off to a great start! Our Monday evenings have been very slow for the last few weeks. Last night it seemed like we returned to normal! Monday also featured the sale of a big Koala Sewing table! Tom spent a long time looking and deciding but is now waiting for delivery! Good Morning! Saturday was a wonderful day! The snow that began falling in the afternoon was just beautiful! Luckily most shoppers did come out early so we did have a busy day! Good Morning! We're off to a great start for our retreat weekend! Cold temperatures did not slow our group down! We also really enjoyed having a group of 3 Quilters show up for a 10 am quilt lesson. They committed to renting the machines for the rest of the day. They were able to complete the class in half the usual time and actually continued to quilt until we closed at 8pm. That was definitely a first! I have lots to work on to feed our group so I have to get going! Come on out before the snow starts! See you at the shop!

Good Morning! Wow! This cold spell is really something! We managed to have a really busy Thursday! Thanks so much to everyone that visited! We even got a peek at the quilt that will be auctioned for the Flyers Wives Carnival! All the fabric came from Olde City! Today we will be welcoming our weekend retreat participants! Good Morning! Wow! Record breaking cold is upon us! If you need a break from being cooped up in your house it's time to head to the shop! It's bright and cheery as usual! New fabrics keep arriving almost daily! Rob was able to deliver a Gammill long arm machine in Robbinsville NJ. yesterday afternoon! Have a great time Gloria! We also are preparing for a quilting retreat this weekend! Rob and I will do a little shopping today for last minute items. We have a good sized crowd but do have room for a few more! Good Morning! Tuesday was quite an interesting day! It started with the snow of course, but the City crews were in the parking lot early and cleared it really well! We were so happy to see that it looked so good early! During the day we had a few unfortunate setbacks that we weren't expecting but the day ended with us finally getting our new computer system running! I think we will try it out this morning! Rob is going to try to deliver a used Gammill this morning! It's a little cold but I think he'll get it done! Good Morning! No time to chat this morning! We have 3 classes going on today! LIza Lucy will be here, Anthony will be teaching the Hunter Star Quilt with our AccuQuilt club! Good Morning! Wednesday was a wonderful day in the shop! We welcomed more first time visitors! That's always exciting! Young Rob visited with the new owner of Francesco's restaurant in order to provide shirts for his staff! They actually own 2 restaurants! Plan to visit Francesco's for lunch or dinner on your next trip to Burlington! Shirley has reported that she is enjoying her visit to NY for Innova training! She did say the snow was piled higher then her car! She was listening to and getting tips from Michael who is the father of Innova owner Neal Schwarzberger! Michael and his brothers began ABM International which is the parent company of Innova! Rob did manage to get the backroom ready to receive our next order from Hobbs Batting! They haven't scheduled our delivery yet but it has to be soon! Time for me to get started!See you at the shop!

Good Morning! Time flies and we're having fun! We'll be welcoming our Sewcial  Wednesday group to our classroom! Rob was busy yesterday helping us get caught up on sewing machine repairs! Things were beginning to stack up but I think we're back on track! He was also trying to make some space for our next big delivery of Hobbs Batting and assemble a previously loved Gammill to be delivered soon. We're keeping him pretty busy! Shirley our other Jack of all trades arrived safely in NY State for some advanced Innova training! Rob wanted to attend as well, but we decided it was more important for Shirley. Good Morning! If Monday is any indication it's going to be another great week! After getting his trailer unloaded following his delivery of an Innova on Sunday, Rob was able to get out and get some much needed supplies for the shop! It is amazing what it takes to keep the shop running the way we like it! Luckily, we were only out of bottled water for a few hours! I also spent a lot of time catching up on placing orders and checking inventory. Much more to do today! I better get started! See you at the shop!

Good Morning! Sometimes there's just so much excitement in the shop! Sometimes it's hard to imagine how far customers travel on a regular basis to visit! Sometimes it's unbelievable that new visitors repeat phrases we've heard many times and each time they seem new! Sometimes a student in a class has that moment when they fall in love with what they're doing! I'm so glad that Rob and I enjoy pushing forward! Sometimes I see Rob feels tired after a long day. Sometimes I have an achy back or neck. But we love being in the shop and meeting the husbands that are glad they came or hear the women that say they'll be back without their husbands! It's always exciting and rewarding to be in the shop. As usual it's my staff that holds it all together as well as the customers that keep coming that make it all possible! I think together we have really made the ultimate Quilt Shop! I hope you are planning to visit soon too! There's just so much to share! See you at the shop!

Good Morning! We had a busy, busy Saturday! A big thanks goes out to everyone that came out for our monthly event and helped Brenda Jones complete nearly 50 Hug Wraps! The day was a little hectic for us trying to fill in for Shirley who has a well deserved weekend off! Young Rob was especially busy with embroidery work! He keeps getting busier and busier! Rob will be heading to Galloway Twp. in a little while to install an Innova Long Arm! I know Betty Ann will be very excited! Mira is still busy trying to get a lot of behind the scenes work completed! No one has taken me up on my offer to buy a Koala sewing table along with me! How about today? I'll be available to help you and I'll certainly be ready to make a good deal! See you at the shop!

Good Morning! Friday certainly lived up to my expectations! We welcomed some new customers! One traveled from Delaware to check us out and get some Long Arm Machine advice. She also managed to find quite a few supplies during her visit! This morning we welcome the return of Brenda Jones and Hug Wraps! We are expecting a big volunteer group, but there is always room for more! Come out and lend a hand if you can! Brenda can find a job for you at any skill level! My mornings seem to be getting shorter! I am off and running again! Have a great weekend! See you at the shop!

Good Morning! February is off to a great start! We had another exciting day and here comes the weekend! Rob and I took a quick trip to North Jersey for a fabric buying trip and came back to find the shop bustling with activity! Rob started to set up the Koala cabinets that we have for display. Sadly, I learned that I didn't order everything I meant to! I guess I'll be placing another order shortly! Good Morning! What a busy Wednesday! Rob was back in the shop in time for lunch after installing the used Gammill Long Arm machine! That was fast! The bigger excitement of the day was one of our most loyal Bernina customers trading in her Bernina 820 and moving up to the Bernina 880 Sterling Edition! Whoo Hoo! This morning I'm going to  watch a Bernina Webinar to keep up with the latest news! See you at the shop!

Good Morning! Another week is flying by! We'll be seeing our regular Wednesday crowd! This morning we're going to keep Caroline and Allan in our thoughts as she is scheduled for surgery and won't be joining the group today. On Tuesday I was glad I got to upgrade one of our Bernina owners to her new 750! We'll also have her 440 with embroidery available! Rob finished assembling the Innova machines and only has to add a light bar! He'll be out for a little while today delivering a used Gammill in the Cherry Hill NJ area! Hopefully he can get the light bar finished when he gets back! As usual we're busy and still working on the computer upgrade! I had no idea there would be so much involved! Time to get moving! Good Morning! Monday sure was a busy day! Three new Koala cabinets arrived for display and are almost set up! I'm liking the Armoire! Rob should have the second new Innova running today, bringing us back to 3 machines ready to rent! He is also getting our used Gammill machines ready for delivery! We came very close to getting our new computer system operating! We were ready, but it took a little longer then expected to coordinate with the company. Hopefully today is the day! We have another busy day ahead as usual! See you at the shop!

Good Morning! A busy Sunday that ended with a great Super Bowl! It's looks a little dreary outside this morning! The beautiful snowfall last night has changed to rain! It is sure to be a busy day for us! We are expecting some deliveries and I am so excited to get started with our computer changes! Mira and Shirley have been working hard and deserve all the credit for getting us to this point! Rob is working on our next Innova machine for the shop and hopes to have it finished by today if he gets enough time! We're going to get started! Wish us luck that everything goes well and I'll see you at the shop!

Good Morning! I'm ready for a Super Sunday! Saturday was really great! Our new Innova got it's first day of use! I was really wanting to try it out myself but had to put that off until today! Rob has begun assembling the second new machine too! He also has to prepare to deliver another used Gammill on Wednesday. Tomorrow we are planning to transition to our new computer sales system. We're excited and a little nervous at the same time! This hopefully will include totally changing our online shopping capabilities as well, but we're going to focus on the store first! Good Morning! After a great Friday, I'm looking forward to a great Saturday in the shop! Rob got the first of two new 22" Innovas set up! He still needs to finish dismantling the 18" machine to get that ready for it's new owner! Our first test drive of the latest Innova improvements was exciting! Now we have to find the time to take the next Innova down and build the other new 22"! Margie has a big edge to edge embroidery class! We are really lucky to have her to share her knowledge! Good Morning! I'm so happy to see progress coming to Burlington City! For years we've loved our location in this city and saw the potential! Quilters from all over have flocked here and many mentioned that this city had a real charm to it! When I opened in 2006 there was a large effort to attract businesses and build the city! The effort was largely derailed by the downturn in the economy. Today it seems as though the latest revitalization efforts are succeeding! Congratulations to all of the new applicants that have gained approval  to move their plans forward! We look forward to the company! Time to get started! Good Morning! Everything seemed back to normal at the shop! I appreciated everyone coming out for our Sewcial Wednesday event! We also had plenty of shoppers especially a group of ladies working on a project for a church! It was a much needed day after having very few customers for the past two days due to the weather forecast! This morning I'm expecting the delivery of our new Innova machines! Busy times ahead for Rob! As usual we have a lot of behind the scenes plans in the works! We will begin using our new computer sales system on Monday! We are sure we'll have a few bumps in the road, but are excited to get moving forward with it! Time to get my day started! See you at the shop!

Good Morning! I'm sure we're all relieved that we didn't get hit with the blizzard! Once it was clear the storm missed us we all made it to the shop! Rob did get to break out his snow blower and cleared everything easily. We had very few customers but we did get a lot of phone calls! Hopefully, the customers will return today and things can get back to normal! See you at the shop!

Good Morning! So, our big snowstorm has turned out to be not much. We intended to be closed today. We have plenty of work to do and have decided that we're going in! Look for the shop to open around 11. I'm not expecting many people to show up, but it might be fun! See you at the shop!

Good Morning! We had a great Sunday! One customer seriously considering buying the newly traded in Bernina 830 Limited Edition! After some consideration she went home with a new Bernina 780! Congratulations! This morning it looks like the big storm is on it's way! I am going to head in to the shop! Barb Persing has already text messaged that she is on her way and the roads are clear! Hopefully we'll get her class completed and everyone back on the road safely! If the weather turns bad later we will close early. I'll have to see what happens tomorrow, but I'm leaning towards sleeping in! If you can make it to the shop today, stop in and say hello! We will certainly be happy to see you! Good Morning! It looks like we have to prepare for another storm or two! Saturday was pretty quiet! We did have a few students make it for our Diva wallet class! We also completed the sale of one of our floor model Innova Long Arms! I'm also eagerly awaiting the arrival of our new Innovas! We are getting two 22" machines to replace our current 18 and 22 inch models this week. Rob will be busy assembling Innova's soon! I also think another used Gammill is getting ready to go home with a new owner! So, even our slow days seem to have plenty of excitement! Come on out and visit us before the big storms arrive! Good Morning! We're not snowed in! We did get a few inches but our street is plowed! I hope you are safe too! We will be getting on the road soon to make certain the shop is open for any dedicated quilters out there! I hope you are able to make it out to the shop safely! Good Morning! Here comes a weekend with the promise of snow! I'm looking forward to a little snow! Hopefully it won't cause too much trouble! We had a great day on Thursday! We welcomed some more new customers and have been reflecting on how exciting last year was when Ricky Tims was here! I know he's coming to Delaware soon with his super seminar with Alex Anderson! Maybe you should make plans to see them there for a little inspiration! Meanwhile, we'll be busy in the shop working on our own projects to tempt you! I'm really excited with the way things are going in the shop! In the last few days we got some behind the scenes plans accomplished and continue to make things run more smoothly! Good Morning! We saw a light dusting of snow yesterday! They say that more is on the way! That sounds like a great reason to head to the shop and pick up some projects to keep you busy! Good Morning! This morning I have to hurry again! I have to open OCQ this morning! It always makes me appreciate my staff more when I have to be there on time! Day after day someone normally allows me to get there without concern! I appreciate that! We had another fantastic day in the shop! Good Morning! We had a wonderful day despite the weather! We personally had no serious issue with ice during our drive to the shop, but did have to put some rock salt out especially by the doors. A couple of gals that registered for Thomas' class were not able to make it however. I did have a full Learn to quilt class! I'd like to thank everyone that came out to the shop. Good Morning! Another busy weekend is coming to a close! This is the final day of having quilts from Luke Haynes and Thomas Knauer in the shop! Today we are welcoming some members of the Philadelphia Modern Quilt Guild who have a class scheduled with Thomas as well! Cynthia picked up her Bernina 830 on Saturday after completing her Innova Auto Pilot training! What an exciting day for her! We are starting a little early this morning to accommodate Thomas' class. Good Morning! What a great day we had on Friday! Thomas Knauer used our Innova Auto Pilot to complete another quilt! He has become quite a fan of the Innova machines and plans to design more Quilt patterns! His presentation last evening was really great! Good Morning! We had a fun day with lots of shoppers and getting ready for the weekend. Thomas arrived yesterday, so we are all set! Are you on the way to the shop? Good Morning! I'm getting excited for the weekend! We will be completing last minute preparations for Thomas Knauer's visit! I have most of the quilts displayed and hope you all get to come out and meet Thomas and see the quilts! His class on Saturday has room for a few more! Don't forget we have other events coming as well! Brandon Mably is returning to lead a class on Tuesday 5 -7! It's just $25.00 for a lecture that will enthuse those that weren't able to attend when Kaffe visited! Barb Persing is resuming her class schedule with us! Good Morning! Our week is flying by! This morning Rob and Young Rob will be delivering a used Gammill! We're going to miss another regular Long Arm Renter, but it just means more room for new renters! Don't forget to sign up for Barb Persing's Long arm classes coming up! I've seen miraculous improvement from all of her students! She'll help you learn how good you can be! We are really enjoying each day in the shop! It seems to keep getting more and more exciting each day! Yesterday, I spent some time hanging Luke Haynes' Quilts! I can't wait to show them off to our visitors! I think it will really be great to have Luke come visit too! Hopefully, he'll find time to visit the next time he travels back east! Good Morning! Another busy week is off to a great start! In just a few days we will be welcoming Thomas Knauer back to the shop! We have to get busy hanging a lot of quilts! We also made tentative arrangements to welcome another guest to the shop in September! That will be a busy month! We have 2 Quilt shows and a now special guest event! Good Morning! Saturday certainly lived up to my expectations! We were pretty busy! I had a great Hook, Line and Sinker class! Today I have the first session of my Learn to Quilt class! That's a lot of new people in one weekend! A Bernina 830 is finding it's way home with one of our regular customers! I even had some Innova shoppers calling! Good Morning! We had an exciting Friday! Lisa Calle and Teri Lucas did drop in to make a small video, glad we could help! It was nice to sneak out of the shop for a few minutes and have lunch at Legends! We have another big day planned at the shop today! I have a Hook, Line and Sinker class with 6 new students signed up! Anthony holds his first ever AccuQuilt Club session! Each month he will feature a different die! Make sure to join Anthony to get the most out of your AccuQuilt purchases! As always Margie will be hosting basic embroidery students! Lot's of new owners will be learning tips from our embroidery expert! After that class she will be welcoming some more advanced students! Whew! What a day! Good Morning! Here we go again! It's still pretty cold and only lightly snowing! I had a great day teaching my first Bernina Mastery class in a while. Shirley was a great help lending me a hand! The rest of the staff was busily rearranging the shop most of the day! We still managed to squeeze in a visit with a fabric sales rep as well as checked in lots of new merchandise that got delivered! Couldn't do it without my hardworking staff! I have to get going so I can get some more accomplished today! It's Friday so we will welcome our regular group of visitors. BRRRRR! It's cold! Good Morning! Busy, busy as usual! Wednesday featured a behind the scenes meeting which should lead to more excitement! We also completed another Bernina sale! I really see the increase in Bernina sales and appreciate everyone that knows that buying your machine here is truly the best value. This morning I'm teaching a Bernina Machine Mastery class for all of those that have bought new Bernina machines recently! It's a pretty big class! I'm really looking forward to it! Good Morning! We had a wonderful Monday! The snow was falling pretty much all day but really didn't pile up! It was beautiful! It was great to see plenty of shoppers getting their winter boots out and visiting! We welcomed another customer to the Bernina family too! We got a big shipment of Summer fabrics! It was fun seeing starfish and sea shells while it was snowing! This morning it seems cold just looking outside! I'm going to head in early! Hope you can make it out to visit us too! Good Morning! I just love the snow! We have a light dusting right now but it seems to be falling fast! We will be open! We are only supposed to get 1 - 2 inches, but you never know! Good Morning! We are off to a fantastic start for an exciting new year! We are busy making new plans for the shop! Yes, a big rearrangement is on the horizon! We are determined to have an even bigger year! We have still been welcoming so many new visitors on a daily basis it's hard to imagine! It really is amazing to look around our shop and remember how small we were when we started and how large we've grown! Today I have some behind the scenes work to take care of. Good Morning! 2015 is off to a great start! We were very excited to match a customer with a previously loved Bernina 780! As usual I'm proud that she shopped around and found that the best deals are always at Olde City Quilts! We also had a lot of shoppers as well as a small group that participated in our regular Friday Super Sew! I have to get started early again so that I can teach a BSR class that begins at 10! Come on out today and enjoy the shop! We have moved all of the sale fabrics into the sale section and have been getting new fabric shipments every day! Time to go! See you at the shop!

Good Morning! We made it through the Holiday Season! Our New Year's eve was spent quietly at home followed by our quietest day ever enjoying the entire day relaxing in the house. Rob did go out to walk Charlie but that was it! So now we are well rested and ready to leap in to 2015! How about you? We anticipate another big year and are excited to see how we continue to grow!
