Olde City Quilts will assess problems your machine may have, suggest necessary repairs, and perform routine maintenance on your old or new machine. Long Arm Quilting
Learn how to finish your own quilts at Olde City Quilts. Rent time on one of two long arm quilting machines. For $60, new users receive a three-hour, private lesson prior to rental to learn operating procedures including threading, changing bobbins and general maintenance. Your instructional class will develop the basic skills necessary to properly finish your own quilts. Following your tutorial, you may rent time on one of two long arm machines for just $17 per hour. For $10, we will load your unfinished quilt so that you can finish your quilt right away and save rental time!
Classes and Activities
Olde City Quilts offers on-site lessons, both in groups or with a private instructor. Our classes range in ability levels and topics. We offer beginner and advanced classes for all ages, including children, in both quilting and sewing techniques. Topics include paper piercing, redwork, fabric painting, silk ribbon embroidery, rug hooking, appliqué, and more! Follow our monthly online schedule for dates of classes on advanced Bernina sewing techniques, hand quilting clubs and classes, embroidery and quilting clubs and classes, and other upcoming activities. Olde City Quilts provides a unique opportunity for local quilters and crafters and to shop, learn, and share ideas in the quaint shopping district of Historic Burlington, NJ.
