Machine Quilting Basics
Learn the basics of machine quilting! In this two-session course, we will discuss how to "read " a quilt and decide the best type of quilting. The whole-cloth sample will include techniques such as cross-hatching, free motion, echoing, basic feathers and more.
Supplies needed for class: 1 yard solid-color fabric, a spool of matching thread, your sewing machine with a walking foot and a free-motion foot.
